Brett Ratner (I almost wrote Rhett Butler before stopping myself), director of crap like X-Men: The Last Stand, recently told Entertainment Weekly that he has approached Iron Man himself to portray the pimp of the world in a new film titled Playboy (wonder how they came up with such a brilliant title?) Apparently, Hef himself is extremely interested in having Robert Downey Jr. portray him onscreen.
“Robert Downey Jr. agreed to do it based on the script,” the director says. “We’re gonna hand him the script very shortly. He loves the character and the role and we’ve been meeting with him on it. So, if he wants to do it, we’re excited to have him.”
While I can’t see the resemblance, I’m sure Downey Jr. will have no problems playing such a horny old man. Go Robert!
