Movie Madness, Smack the Piñata
Estelle Getty, the teeny actress who spent 40 years struggling for success before landing the role of a lifetime as sarcastic Sophia on TV’s The Golden Girls, died of advanced dementia this morning in her L.A. home. She was 84.
