Joo know what time it is?

Rogue Pictures is planning a sequel to its summer hit The Strangers, and has set original writer/director Bryan Bertino to return to write the script. It’s still up in the air whether he’ll direct.

The expectation is that Liv Tyler, along with several of the original villains, will return. Production is being slated for early 2009 in what could turn into a franchise ala’ the Saw and Scream movies.

This sounds like nothing more than a lame attempt by a studio to steal money from dumbass moviegoers and I will definitely be there opening weekend, despite my lackluster feelings about the first film. Read my short review of it, here.
