Authorities have arrested a suspect in the shooting deaths of Jennifer Hudson‘s brother, Jason Hudson, 29, and mother, Darnell Donerson, 57.
Responding to a call made by a family member who discovered the bodies, police found the pair a little before 3 p.m. Friday at Donerson’s home on Chicago’s South Side. Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, her sister Julia‘s son, has been reported missing.
William Balfour, the estranged husband of Julia, was taken into custody Friday night but has not been charged. A friend of Julia’s said that Balfour, 27, is not the biological father of the missing boy.
Police said that there were no signs of forced entry and they are treating the case as a domestic matter.
Law enforcement sources tell the Chicago Tribune that Julian was not with him.
Cook County records show that Balfour is on probation after serving seven years in prison for attempted murder and vehicular hijacking. He was released in May 2006.

i really hope they find the person who did this….that is the worse thing that could ever happen to someone and i wouldnt be able to live if i were jennifer, but she is a strong woman and i give her my respect.
