ABC has officially canceled Pushing Daisies, executive producer Bryan Fuller confirmed today.
According to reports, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money have also been canceled, but reps for both shows have declined to comment.
Bryan Fuller, however, wasn’t afraid to speak up: “[ABC president] Steve McPherson called me, and said ‘We gave it the best shot we could.’ ”
According to Fuller, “It’s very likely that Pushing Daisies will end after episode 13, which as you know, is a cliffhanger. But we are talking to DC Comics about doing comic books that will wrap up our storylines, and I already have a pitch for a movie ready to go.
“To be honest, I’m really not feeling very boo-hoo about it. I am so proud of the show. We put together 22 really good episodes, and there is a lot to be proud of. I’m sure I’ll be working with a lot of these people again, and I would love to do so.”
I blame the writers: “Daisies” and “Money” were hits before the writer’s strike stopped their first seasons short, and both shows struggled in the ratings upon their return. The least ABC could do is give both shows the full season so all the storylines could be wrapped.
BOO ABC!

FUCK YOU ABC! SUCK MY LEFT NUT YOU FASCIST BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good job ripping off the REAL writer of this article, Kristin Dos Santos of Yahoo.
Don’t be a dick, give credit where credit is due…..
In my defense, all websites pretty much receive the same news from various sources. This article consists mainly of several quotes by Fuller, which is now public knowledge, and my own brief commentary. Credit can’t go to one person because that person isn’t the only one writing about this. Fuller made the quotes. If Santos wrote about it, great. But I’m sure many other news sources did as well.
