Probably one of the most disturbing, yet FUNNIEST interviews I have ever read…
50-Jeer-old Funk Icon, La Princessa, Prince attempts to discuss politics and religion.
“God came to Earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’”” she says in the new issue of the New Yorker Magazine.
Aren’t Prince lyrics usually about sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever??

Btw, my cousins are Jehova’s Witness and they don’t believe in voting, gifts, and blood transfusions. Que cool!
So back to Prince. This intellectual goes on to say:
“So here’s how it is: on the right, joo got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this,” he says while pointing to a Bible. “Pero there’s the problem of interpretation, and joo got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, pero it doesn’t. And then on the opposite end of the spectrum … (on the left) joo got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘Joo can do whatever joo want.’ Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.”

The interviewer spoke excloosibly to ChismeTime to give us some chisme, saying:
“Prince and I were having a larger conversation about his/her belief system and his/her politics. He/She told me he/she didn’t have a horse in the November election and that he/she didn’t believe in getting involved with these kind of “earthly” contests. I had asked him if the fact that Obama was black didn’t compel him to get involved. He said, ‘Why?’ And I said, Well, because joo black. And he said ‘Am I?’ and held up his wrist next to my ruddy one. Indeed his skin was lighter, and so he got excited”

why should he feel compelled to vote for someone just because of their skin-color? Isn’t that racist? Um, yes. It’s is a privilege to vote but some people just aren’t interested in that. They just go on their way.
And really, if he was whatever sexual orientation, religion, whatever, in the past, well, that’s in the past. His right as an American is to vote, not vote. Be black, be white, whatever. That interviewer was nuts to ask him about voting for Barak because he’s black. Absurd.
