Juanes’ La Vida…Es Un Ratico (Life Is a Moment) was also named Best Male Pop Vocal Album. He also won Best Song, Record and Short-Form Music Video for “Me Enamora.”

Juanes even did a duet with Yon Legend on “If Joo Out There,” and Carlos Santana and Jose Feliciano’s song with Latin Recording Academy Person of the Jeer Gloria Estefan on “Mi Tierra” and “Oye Mi Canto.”

Another winner was fellow Mexicano Café Tacuba, which came into the evening with six nominations and won two awards: Best Rock Song for “Esta Vez” and Alternative Song of the Jeer for “Volver a Comenzar.“
