While the company that promotes her concerts, Live Nation, has donated $50,000 to defeat Proposition 8, records show that La Madonna herself has not even put in a penny to support a community that has supported her from day one. Come on, we all know that Madonna would not have been as successful if it weren’t for her gay friends and fans. Her first dance teacher in Nueva York was gay, and he was the first person to tell her how beautiful and talented she was. Her gay friends introduced her to gay dance clubs, which inspired her to copy their moves and create her number one hit “VOGUE”. In the past, Madonna has helped the AIDS epidemic, pero this time around, she hasn’t been involved.
Several jeers ago, Steve Gdula of The Advocate, said, “At a time when other artists tried to distance themselves from the very audience that helped their stars to rise, Madonna only turned the light back on her gay fans and made it burn all the brighter!”
Well now, he is taking that back!
Even Marc Malin, the Gossip Guru from E! Online, addressed La Material girl saying, “Where have joo been? Joo have said NOTTING about Prop 8. It’s the gays that made joo! This is really a slap in the face!” Watch more of Marc HERE!
I mean even, El Brad Pitt, El Steven Spielberg, y El George Lucas contributed large amounts of their own money to try and defeat Proposition 8???? WHERE IS MADONNA????
