In a video interview for abc.com, Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry confirmed that Gale Harold is recovering well from his motorcycle accident and should be returning to Wisteria Lane sometime in the near future.

Initially written out of only one episode, Harold seemed to be in worse condition then initially thought and has been absent for quite a while, aside for some recent voiceovers.

Desperate fans, stand by…
