Struggling actors take headshots, while accomplished actors take mugshots. Raw and Classic with no extravagant lighting and no on-location make-up artists, these celebrities were caught off guard and accused of all sort of crimes. Here are some of ChismeTime.com’s top picks!
10. Jim Morrison
This mugshot became eternalized as it became Morrison’s most popular image. In 1969, the rock icon also known as the Lizard King was arrested (for the second time) for revealing illegal portions of himself on stage and for using profanity during a concert in Miami, Florida. A third time allegedly didn’t involve charges and stemmed from a collision with a vehicle which ran a stop sign.
7. Frank Sinatra
The legendary Frank Sinatra spent many nights with many different women, he also spent at least one night without when he was arrested for seduction and spent sixteen hours in the Bergen County jail back in 1938. Although it’s not against the law in most states now, Ol’ Blue Eyes was arrested at the age of 23 for having had sexual intercourse with a single woman supposedly of good repute. After being assessed a fine of $1500, Sinatra managed to elude punishment when charges were dropped due to a withdrawal of the complaint when it turned out to be the case that she was married.Â
6. Heather Locklear
Dilated Pupils, Running Mascara. Locklear was arrested and released in Santa Barbara, CA in 2008, under suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Locklear, 47, was pulled over by a California Highway Patrol officer after Jill Ishkanian, a member of the paparazzi, reported seeing the actress leaving a parking lot and “driving erratically.” A blood test detected no alcohol or illegal narcotics, but they believe the prescription medications she consumed “could have impaired her ability to safely drive a motor vehicle.”On January 2, 2009, Locklear pleaded guilty to one charge of reckless driving, a misdemeanor, and in return the district attorney dismissed the DUI charges.Â
5. Al Pacino

Probably one of the Prettiest Headshot/Mugshot ever taken. 1. BOTH James Brown & Nick NolteÂ
Ever since the age of 16, James Brown has been arrested more than 10 times (theft, drugs, assault, sexual harrassment). In January 2005, The Sex Machine was slapped with a $106 million lawsuit by his former assistant who claimed that the famed singer had raped her in the back of his van at gunpoint in 1988. The soul legend’s lawyer also added that the woman’s claims had been dismissed as frivolous by a judge in 2002 who also cleared Brown of another woman’s sexual harassment accusations.
Hollywood star Nick Nolte was arrested on September 11, 2002 in Malibu, California on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. The Oscar nominee was pulled over after he was spotted driving recklessly. The officers who stopped the then-61-year-old actor reported that he was completely out of it and drooling on himself at the time of his arrest. Tests later revealed that Nick Nolte was actually under the  ’date rape’ drug.
