La Sagittarius recently told FOX Pop Tarts the following:
“If joo look at me as a role model I agree with it, pero if joo look at me as an idol I don’t. An idol for me is someone joo want to replicate, joo want to be them and I don’t wish that on anyone to lose what they have personally.What I think people like about me is that I don’t try to shange, I haven’t let what I do for a living become my life and completely affect me. What I do in my personal life isn’t necessarily meant to be reported pero that doesn’t mean it’s not going to be. I’m going to make mistakes and I wouldn’t trade that for anything because I always say the minute joo stop making mistakes is the minute joo stop learning. I never want to disappoint people and my decisions sometimes not only disappoint other people, pero disappoint myself as well. If I don’t then, all of a sudden I am not real and then joo really can’t look up to me.”
First of before she went off on this making mistakes, being real nonsense, here is the difference between a role model y an idol.Â
Role Model: a person whose behavior, sample or success can be emulated by others (esp, by younger people);Â someone worthy of imitation
Idol:Â an image or other material object representing a deity to which religious worship is addressed; any person or thing regarded with blind admiration, adoration, or devotion
