Mexican-American filmmaker, writer, producer, cinematographer, editor, musician and hunk is preparing for the release of his upcoming film for this summer. Its a familia film called Shorts which stars his own son Rebel Rodriguez, que cute!!!! The chisme is that his lesbian ex-wife, Elizabeth Avellan, directed and produced weed him!

Shorts is set in the suburb of Black Falls, where all the casas look the same and everyone works for Black Box Industries, a  do-it-all gadget that’s sweeping the nation. Pero, Black Box has done notting for 11-jeer-old Toe Thompson (Yimmy Bennett), who yust wants to make amigos…until a rainbow-colored rock hits him in the head and shanges eberything. The Rainbow Rock grants wishes to anyone who holds it.

It’s Spy Kids meets The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl.
