  1. Beautiful x

  2. This is one of many powerful speeches spoken at Micheal Jackson Memorial. There was so much truth spoken. (WASN’T NOTHING STRANGE ABOUT YOUR DADDY, IT WAS STRANGE WITH WHAT YOUR DADDY HAD TO DEAL WITH!)

  3. Rev. Al Sharpton’s speech that included the insinuation that “WHITE FOLK” never knew about black music until Michael Jackson showed up is seething with hatred and racism. I was born in 1971. I am Irish/English/Filipino….I am an AMERICAN. My parents played nothing but great MUSIC as we grew up. This music included the likes of Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Steely Dan, John Coltrane, The Temptations, Funkadelic…and on and on. When I was 10 Michael Jackson’s Off The Wall was listened to in our house. But he WAS NOT the first black musician us WHITE FOLK were even remotely exposed to. All of this anger towards a generation of WHITE FOLK who didn’t even experience the Civil Rights Movement is hate speech and is potentially harmul. Somebody please shut this idiot up. Thank You.

  4. We should never allow falsehood to decide for us who we are.

We should forever be vigilant to root out the real pervert!

Bro, you said what needed to be said.  We are with you!

RIP MJ; a disciple of God!

    The Serpent Bearer!

  5. hey man!!! the man was speaking the truth…it hurts, but you got take it as the truth……..he didnt mean what you say!

  6. This will go down as one of the greatest speeches of all time. A great piece of oratory.

  7.  I am a white woman who was born in the 50’s.  I listened to so much music as I grew up.  My fav groups were the Temptations, Four Tops, the Supremes and many many more.   Later on Michael came into the business and I just loved him and his music! I knew alot about Black music before Michael came around and I really enjoyed listening to it!!

  8. Oh please…
When will people of either race stop taking offense at every comment? The speech was not about you. And like it or not Michael Jackson did break down racial barriers, he didn’t just change music, he wasn’t just a great black artist. Michael Jackson marked the beginning of an era. You werent racist? congratulations, you knew black music? many of us did. But there were a lot of people who were racist back then, and the influence of Michael Jackson did a great deal in changing that. I thought this speech was the best of the memorial and Rev. Sharpton is a wise and seasoned speaker and said it beautifully. Nothing offensive there, just the truth.
