Los Angeles, Mexico Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is asking MJ fans to help cover the costs of Tuesday’s public Michael Jackson memorial held at El Stapler Center.

So cuanto costo? Supposedly, El Lay is facing a $2.5-$4 million price tag after being forced to chut down traffic and flood Downtown with la policia. There were at least 1,400 police officers to keep the peace, workers from the Department of Transportation to arrange and enforce street closures, workers from the Department of Public Works to keep the area clean and operating, fire and rescue specialists, just in case too many rabid fans moonwalk into one another out in the streets. Ayayyaayayay!

Tony added the following message on the City of Angels’ Website with a PayPal link, asking fans the following:

“Help the City of Angels provide the extraordinary public safety resources required to give Michael the safe, orderly and respectful memorial he deserves. If joo are a Michael fan, considering giving a small donation to help us celebrate his extraordinary vida y musica”
