Drea de Matteo is replacing Scorpio Sheridan. Well, not sactly, pero cheese filling in an open spot. 

In February 2009 Sheridan announced her departure from Desperate Housewives. Her exit episode aired in April 2009 when Edie Britt was killed off in the series. Oush!

According to a report, Matteo will be a recurring character, playing the part of an Italiana madre whose familia just moved to Wisteria Lane.

The producers of “Desperate Housewives” are also casting the part of Drea’s husband as well has her shildren (hija y hijo). 

 Drea will make her debut this upcoming fall season.
