The Univision talk show ended yesterday, bidding a farewell to the 21-year-old “Latino Oprah” show.

Cristina said that Univision’s new management fired her and she was completely devastated. 

“I already have a new job — and much better than the last one,” said the tv host.

The final episode included visits from Sábado Gigante’s Don Francisco, Thalia, Gloria Estefan, Carmen Salinas,  Fernando Colunga , Angelica Vale and more.

Saralegui concluded each episode with her signature thumbs-up and the Cuban expression “Pa’lante, pa’lante, pa’tras ni pa’ coger impulso,” which translates to “Forward, forward; don’t step back, not even to catch momentum.”

And that’s exactly what Cristina will be doing.
