There is going to be a new Zorro movie, called “Zorro Reborn” and Gael Garcia Bernal has signed on to play the masked sword wielding hero. The setting and backstory have changed for the new release, which sounds pretty exciting. Zorro Reborn will also have some competition as Sony Pictures is developing their own Zorro film based on the novel by Isabel Allende, which is a prequel to previous Zorro tales. Bernal seems to be keeping busy, as he’s also in “Casa De Mi Padre” with Diego Luna and Will Ferrell, and has an immigration documentary he’ll be working on.
