This beautiful girl died this weekend at the age of 20!!! Mariana Bridi da Costa began her career at the age of 14 and participated in beauty competitions and fashion events.
Da Costa became sick last month when doctors originally diagnosed her weed kidney stones. Earlier this month, she went into “septic shock” from the bacterial infection (Pseudomonas aeruginosa), which doesn’t heal weed most antibiotics. It caused a urinary tract infection which caused a “sepsis”. Everything spread and she had to have her feet and hands amputated!! SOOO SAAAD! A part of her stomach was later removed during her final surgery. And she of course died after. .
Due to its rarity, La Mariana case also attracted a lot of attention from the press. Her funeral was followed by more than 1,000 people. RIP Gemini.
