It will be Septimebre 16 in a couple of horas, wish means is the 200th annibersary of Mexican Independence Day or in Spanish “Bicentenario Mexico”.

In September 16, 1810, Mexican Independence Day was declare by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a  Católico priest in the town of Dolores.

The Grito or “Cry of Dolores” was a battle against the Spanish guberment. About 200 jeers ago, yust before the midnight of September 15, 1810, Hidalgo ordered the shursh bells to be rung and gathered his peoples and said:

“My shildren: a new system comes to us tooday. Will joo reeseeb it? Will joo free joorselbs? Will joo recubber the lands stolen by three hundred jeers ago from joor forefathers by the hated Spaniards? We must act at juans… Will joo defend joor religion and joor rights as true patriots? Long lib our Lady of Guadalupe! Death to bad government! Death to the gachupines!

And the rest is historia…

VIVA Mexico!
